Privacy policy

Sellavo lets you photograph or film an item, receive an AI-generated listing draft and publish it for buyers to find. This policy explains what personal data we process, why we process it and your GDPR rights.

• Account data: email address, hashed password and basic data shared by an identity provider when you use social login.
• Listing content: uploaded photos and videos, title, description, price, category, location and the display name you choose.
• Location data: the place or address you enter is converted to approximate coordinates. We do not continuously track your device.
• Technical data: session information and security and error logs generated while the service is used.
• Payment, support and device data needed to provide subscriptions, customer service and app functions.

We process data to provide your account, generate and publish listings, show approximate locations, enable messages and payments, prevent abuse and provide support. Contract performance is the main legal basis. Security uses our legitimate interests, and optional analytics or marketing requires consent.

When you use an AI feature, your submitted images, video, text and instructions are sent to an AI provider to generate the requested result. Suggestions may be wrong and you must review them before publishing. We do not use your content to train our own models.

We never sell your personal data. Service providers may process data for hosting, databases, image storage, AI, maps, email, payments and authentication. Data may be transferred outside the EEA using an adequacy decision or EU standard contractual clauses. We disclose data when legally required.

Published listings are public and may be indexed or cached by search engines. Your exact address, email address and phone number are not displayed publicly by Sellavo. Only publish content you are comfortable making public.

Listings and images remain until deletion or account removal. Account removal is completed after a short recovery period. Accounting records are retained for the legally required period. Security logs are kept only as long as needed, and consent choices remain until changed.

Traffic is encrypted, passwords are hashed and access is restricted. No service can guarantee complete security, but we continuously work to protect data and limit access.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and may withdraw consent at any time. Contact hej@sellavo.com. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.

• Camera and photo library access is used only when you choose media for a listing.
• Microphone access is used only for videos you record.
• Location is used on request to suggest a place and nearby listings; background tracking is not used.
• Notification tokens and basic device information support notifications and troubleshooting.
• Face ID or Touch ID is checked by your device. Sellavo never receives your biometric data.

We may update this policy when the service or law changes. The current version and update date are always shown here, and material changes are announced in the service.
